The Publishing Agencies in Norway (PIN) has established a new board. Creative Leader at Itera Gazette, Irène Sætre, is now a memeber of the board, while previous counsellor in Itera, Ida Halvorsen, has turned the leader role over to Paal Andrè Schwital from Metro Branding.
PIN is the trade organization for agencies working with publishing. Their goal is to increase the esteem for contract publishing as a central marketing tool and along term developer of relations. PIN is meant to be the trade's most important meeting point and keep their members updated on everything that moves within the business of contract publishing. Today the organization consists of 11 of the most central publishing agencies in Norway. Itera Gazette has led PIN throughout the past two years.
- I cannot wait to get down to my board post. I see PIN as an important and ambitious organization despite their relatively small size. We face an extensive job ensuring the proper focus onto our field. The effect of editorial communication and contract publishing is well documented, but is far too unknown. Our field has a high status internationally, but in Norway we have not yet realized what enormous effect contract publishing has as a relation builder. However, we are definitively on the right path, says Irène Sætre.
